About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering and Welding Apprenticeship Trainer to join our team at MidKent College on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching both practical and theoretical lessons, as well as mentoring and assessing apprentices in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to apprentices
  • Mentor and assess apprentices in the workplace, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Coordinate vocational study programme delivery activities, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth delivery of programmes
  • Contribute to the development of apprentices, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Certificate L2 or equivalent qualification
  • NVQ Diploma L2 or equivalent qualification

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
