Job Title: Training and Development Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at MidKent College. As an Engineering and Welding Apprenticeship Trainer, you will be responsible for teaching both practical and theory lessons, as well as mentoring and assessing students in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training sessions to students on various engineering and welding topics
- Mentor and assess students in the workplace to ensure they meet the required standards
- Coordinate designated vocational study programme delivery activities
- Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in engineering and welding education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups of students and staff
- Knowledge of City and Guilds Certificate L2 and NVQ Diploma L2
