Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Professional to join our team and provide expert advice on governance, procedures, and compliance to our Local Governing Bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clerking services to Local Governing Bodies, including taking minutes and recording discussions and decisions.
  • Offer expert advice on governance, procedures, and compliance to ensure efficient and effective governance.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic approach to managing documentation for compliance and internal/external auditing.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to tackle complex issues and maintain a high standard of work under pressure.
  • Be flexible in working hours and travel between schools, with the option to work virtually.
Requirements
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • High-quality and accurate minute-taking skills.
  • Excellent proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
  • Highly competent user of Microsoft Office and email.
