About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Governance Director to join our team at Nottingham CityCare Partnership CIC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of our organization, including the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Board of Directors and senior management on governance matters.
  • Ensure that the organization's governance framework is effective and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Ensure that the organization's risk management framework is effective and efficient.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in governance and compliance, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the NHS Constitution and the Care Act 2014.
