As a School Attendance Officer at Winner Education, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students in a school in South Birmingham. This is a full-time opportunity with potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily monitoring of student attendance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Accurate updating of student records to ensure seamless access to information.
  • Experience with SIMS software system is highly beneficial for this role.
  • Providing excellent customer service to parents and staff through effective communication.
  • Maintaining accurate pupil attendance records to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Offering administrative support to colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
  • Covering reception duties as needed to present a professional image.
  • Presenting data to senior leaders to inform strategic decisions and drive progress.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with staff and parents.
  • Previous experience in school attendance or administration is highly desirable.
  • A high level of motivation, professionalism, and forward thinking to excel in this role.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with SIMS, to streamline processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to deliver outstanding support.
  • Ability to form positive relationships with staff and parents to create a supportive environment.
  • Familiarity with school attendance procedures to ensure compliance.
