Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Welfare Officer. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the armed forces community, ensuring they have access to the medical welfare resources they need.

The St John and Red Cross Defence Medical Welfare Service is a leading provider of medical welfare support to the armed forces community. With a rich history spanning over 80 years, our organisation is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to those who need it most. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in achieving this mission.

Main Objectives:
  1. To support the Armed Forces Community in accessing medical welfare resources.
  2. To collaborate with healthcare professionals and community services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Fully qualified driver with access to a vehicle.
