Job Title:

Behaviour Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Emotional Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Kedleston Group Limited. As a key member of our pastoral support team, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with their social and emotional development and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IDentifying strategies to help overcome individual pupils' barriers to learning.
  • Developing and using systems to support the monitoring of pupils' behaviour.
  • Coordinating the development of individual support for pupils and reviewing ongoing progress towards set goals.
  • Supporting the transition of new pupils arriving or existing pupils returning to school.
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour and attendance.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with staff to support monitoring activities on individual pupils' behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Attending Advanced Team Teach training.
  • Maintaining regular contact with parents/carers to discuss their child's progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Representing the school at external networking and training events.
Requirements:
  • Maintaining accurate records of interventions and relevant meetings.
  • Facilitating the transfer of relevant pupil information inside and outside the school.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave entitlement, contributions to your pension, continued professional development and training, and a friendly team environment.
