About the Position:

We are a specialist education provider dedicated to supporting pupils with autism. Our school site and partnership with Solihull College offer a unique opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a real difference in the lives of sixth-form pupils.

The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective teaching strategies. Knowledge of autism-specific approaches and collaboration with colleagues are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver bespoke lesson plans that address the diverse needs of sixth-form pupils.
  • Establish strong relationships with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum content that reflects the unique needs and aspirations of pupils on the autistic spectrum.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and make adjustments as needed.

Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
