Job Title: Autism Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive. As a special educational needs teaching assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with autism, ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors.

Salary: £85-£95 per day

About the Role
  • Assist the teacher with classroom preparation, including setting up materials and resources.
  • Work one-on-one with pupils who require additional support, helping them to understand and engage with lesson content.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to observe pupil behavior and provide feedback on their progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional behavior management skills, with experience working with students who have autism, ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
