Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs in a primary autism school. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children who have SEN, be patient, and possess a calm and caring nature.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Early Years to KS3 children with autism and learning difficulties.
  • Delivering lessons tailored to the children's needs, working 1:1 or in small groups.
  • Working closely with the class teacher to ensure the needs of all children are met.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children who have SEND.
  • A calm and caring nature.
  • Team Teach training (preferred but not essential).
