Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Beacon Support. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor and learning strategist to work with students who have SpLDs.

About the Role

This role involves providing academic support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and ASC. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with SpLDs and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements
  • A degree-level education in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Professional membership with PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, or Dyslexia Guild
  • Excellent ability to identify learning strategies and adapt to individual needs
  • Reliability and flexibility to meet the demands of this role
