Teaching Assistant Job: Supporting Children with Autism

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team and provide valuable support to children with autism and learning difficulties at our primary school.

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and deliver tailored lessons 1:1 or in small groups to cater to each child's unique needs.

About You
  • Have a patient and empathetic approach when interacting with children with various special needs.
  • Previous experience working with children who have SEND is essential.
  • A calm and caring nature is crucial for building trust with our students.
  • Understanding of supporting children with SEND is vital.
  • Team Teach training is preferred but not obligatory.
