Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team in Birmingham. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism and complex needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils who may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties, or EHCPs. You will work closely with the teacher to set activities and assist pupils in their development, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
The school caters to students with a range of abilities, including ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Autism (ASD), Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), Challenging Behaviour, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, Global Development Delay (GDD), Hearing Impairment (HI), Learning Disabilities, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI), Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD), Speech and Language Disorder, and Visual Impairment (VI).
We offer a competitive salary of around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide opportunities for career development and progression, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and free training and development programmes.
