Job Title: SEN Graduate Learning Support Assistant

">About The Role

As a dedicated and passionate SEN Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with special educational needs across different age groups at an 'Outstanding' secondary school in the vibrant ward of Edgbaston. Working closely with our experienced teaching staff, you will help create tailored learning plans and deliver one-on-one or small group sessions to enhance their academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Provide personalized support to SEN pupils, implementing tailored learning strategies to meet their specific needs.">
  • Assist class teachers in differentiating lesson materials to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all pupils.">
  • Monitor individual pupil progress, reporting findings to the SEN coordinator and relevant teaching staff.">
  • Collaborate with the school's SEN team and parents to develop and maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils requiring additional support.">
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils feel valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

We are seeking a graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree who is passionate about supporting children with SEN and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with knowledge of SEN strategies and intervention techniques being advantageous.
