Colmore Education Recruitment Ltd: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) at our primary autism school.
The ideal candidate will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and experienced learning support staff to deliver lessons 1:1 or in small groups tailored to each child's needs.
About Our School- Our school provides a diverse and inclusive environment for children with SEN.
- You will work with Early Years and KS3 children with autism and learning difficulties.
- Support the class teacher in meeting the individual needs of all children.
- Deliver tailored lessons 1:1 or in small groups.
- Be patient and understanding of the varying special needs of our students.
- Previous experience working with children who have SEND is essential.
- A calm and caring nature is vital for this role.
- Understanding of supporting children with SEND is crucial.
- Team Teach training is preferred but not essential.
