Job DescriptionThis role involves leading the provision of pastoral care across Key Stage 3, with a focus on behaviour, wellbeing and attendance.
You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement policies and practices that promote student welfare and achievement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing a purposeful learning environment conducive to learning where pupils feel safe, secure and confident.
- Setting high expectations for pupils' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well-focused interventions and productive relationships.
- Taking responsibility for implementing school policies and practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
An estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
