Palliative and End-of-Life Care Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Paramedic Practitioner to join our community services team at Compton Care in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our community services team, you will provide clinical, hands-on care to our patients. Your main duties will include providing specialist knowledge, expertise, and support to patients and their carers, enabling them to stay in their homes if that is their wish by helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

  • Healthcare degree and/or Health Assessment course
  • Advanced communication training or willingness to undertake this training
  • UK driving licence and relevant insurance to allow travel using your own vehicle

Working Conditions

You will be working out in the community, visiting patients in their homes. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions quickly.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £38,892 - £43,700 per annum (Band 6), depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
