About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Academic Welfare Advocate to join our team at Global Banking School.

You will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and academic success of our students, providing guidance and support to those in need. This includes managing student referrals, working with student engagement managers to improve attendance, and delivering training on health and wellbeing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide pastoral support and guidance to students.
  • To work with the Student Welfare Manager to address student welfare.
  • To collaborate with other student support services to provide comprehensive support.
  • To assist with organising social activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health-related preferred).
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • High computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of DDA and SENDA guidelines.
  • Experience working with physical disabilities.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
