We are seeking an experienced Academic and Community Liaison Officer to join our team at Europeans Welfare Association CIC. As a key member of our ERAVI Project, you will play a vital role in supporting victims of violence and exploitation from Central and Eastern Europe.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for social justice and experience working with marginalized communities. You will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs on social justice issues, facilitating training and professional development for project staff, and preparing content for social media campaigns to raise awareness about the project.
You will also assist in planning and delivering two themed community events per year, analyze data from recorded cases to inform research on CEE experiences of violence, exploitation, and discrimination, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and contribute to reports on project progress.
In this multifaceted role, you will foster increased cooperation between NGOs and local authorities, liaise with academia, local authorities, West Midlands Police, and other stakeholders, and participate in networking and annual events with relevant stakeholders.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location of the job is in the Birmingham and Black Country area.
