The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff and SEN specialists to develop and implement individualised behaviour plans for students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support to students with challenging behaviour, promoting positive outcomes and academic engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement behaviour interventions, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to inform behaviour plans and provide accurate feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group sessions to enhance students' social skills, emotional regulation, and academic achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our behaviour management systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviour, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies, including Positive Behavioural Supports (PBS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to inclusivity and diversity, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • A current Enhanced DBS check and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
