Job Title: Academic Support Professional

Location: Hackney
Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, based on experience.

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Academic Support Professional to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. The successful candidate will provide personalised support and assistance to our students with special educational needs, working on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis.

  1. Assist the classroom teacher in developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  2. Contribute to the creation and implementation of behavioural interventions and strategies to support positive behaviour management.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development and progress.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A strong commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
