Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting. As a dedicated and passionate professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with ASD, PMLD, and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:
  • You will be supporting a small group of SEN students in core subjects within a secondary school setting.
  • Assisting students with complex needs and providing tailored support to ensure they continue to progress and understand the curriculum.
  • Adapting teaching methods to cater to individual student needs and collaborating with teachers to monitor student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-to-one and group support to SEN students.
  • Developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers to create tailored lesson plans and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Requirements:
  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a relevant field from a top 20 UK University.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience are required.
  • Good behaviour management skills and a solid work ethic are also essential.

Estimated Salary: £93 per day.
