We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Leader to join our EMEA Leadership Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the region's financial activities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial information, and providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth.

Job Description

This full-time, permanent position is preferably based in London, although flexibility within the region is available.

The successful candidate will lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, while executing strategic initiatives across the EMEA region. Collaborating closely with the EMEA Managing Director, General Managers, and Finance Managers, they will also align with Group Finance requirements.

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial analysis to drive financial performance and support business objectives.
  • Ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial reporting in alignment with regional and Group Finance requirements.
  • Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting, offering data-driven insights to support strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 10+ years of finance experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles blending compliance and commercial expertise.
  • Expertise in business performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven leadership, with the ability to influence and drive results.
  • Experience in the travel industry, especially adventure tourism (desirable).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with UK Package Travel Regulation and EU Package Travel Directive.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £90,000-£120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
