Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to provide administrative support to our Plastic Surgery Department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Main Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Plastic Surgery Department, including secretarial and organisational tasks.
Engage with patients, relatives, staff, and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
Support the department in a variety of administration tasks, including managing patient pathways and ensuring RTT targets are met.

Person Specification
Essential
Secondary education to GCSE level, including English and Maths
NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent experience
Desirable
AMSPAR Level 3 Certificate in Medical Administration
RSA Level III
Experience
Significant experience in secretarial/administration, preferably in a medical setting
Skills
Audio typing
Excellent keyboard skills
Proficient use of computers and software packages, including databases and spreadsheets
Good communication skills
Capability to work under pressure
Attention to detail with high degree of personal organisation, prioritisation, and self-management
