Role/Team Overview:
The Business Finance Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the success of Markets Operations by managing financial plans, forecasting, resource optimization, productivity enhancement, investment deliverables, and risk mitigation.
This position collaborates closely with Global Heads of Operations and Business & Finance Partners to ensure accurate reporting and effective management of financial objectives for a global organization of approximately 3,500 employees.
What You'll Do:- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's structure, culture, processes, and technology landscape.
- Prepare materials for Business Reviews and Product-aligned Steering Committees, including tracking action items to completion.
- Design, analyze, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, identify opportunities for improvement, generate management reports, and escalate critical issues.
- Effectively manage ad hoc requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervise and prepare the annual financial plan, allocation processes, and budget planning, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Analyze progress against strategic and financial objectives. Communicate key risks, define mitigation strategies, and oversee their implementation to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate opportunities and contribute to location strategy optimization for an efficient global footprint that effectively serves clients.
- Lead Operations Optimization & Investment Tracking Governance, providing guidance to Heads of Operations, Global Business Management Team, and Project Managers on potential opportunities and risks.
- Manage and forecast headcount, identifying potential risks to headcount targets and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Proven experience in a dynamic, large-scale global financial services firm, ideally within Operations/Finance/Accounting.
- A strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
