Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Cash Operations Lead to join our team at Informa Global Support. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team across multiple countries, ensuring the effective end-to-end monitoring of bank and credit card merchant processes, and controlling accesses to bank and credit card merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global team responsible for monitoring the clearing of open items with relevant teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Develop and implement effective management processes to ensure the Cash Operations team is resourced and trained to deliver the cash operations model.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury to ensure alignment with Group Treasury Policy and Shared Services Centre (SSC) owned aspects.
  • Oversee all aspects of bank and credit card merchant transitions, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Drive improvements in auto-matching rates across all ERPs, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Monitor direct debit arrangements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and providing clear action plans for aged open items.
  • Lead improvements in cash operations, technology, processes, and policies, ensuring the function is fit for purpose and aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met for transitions, projects, and BAU operations.
  • Ensure all company policies are adhered to, and maintain clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) and desk top procedures (DTPs).
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working within Cash Management, with strong functional knowledge of bank and credit card merchant processes, and bank reconciliations.
  • Chartered Accountancy qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to successfully lead a global team and build a Cash Operations centre of excellence from scratch.
