This organization has experienced significant growth in recent years, diversifying its product offering and target markets, and has ambitious plans to expand into new areas.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic CFO to join our client's Global C-Suite. As a board-level position, this role will contribute to the long-term development of the business, driving company profitability and growth. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the delivery of strategic and operational finance and accounting, leading a growing finance team of 5 reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive business growth and profitability
- Lead the finance team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Global C-Suite and external partners
- Drive a transformation mindset across the organization, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
- Recruit and lead a high-performing finance team, developing talent and expertise
Requirements
- Qualified chartered accountant with a strong track record of strategic finance leadership
- Experience in a fast-growing, engineering-focused SME or a similar industry
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability
- Experience in renewable energy or a related sector is highly desirable
