Claims Recovery Specialist

As a Claims Recovery Specialist, you'll be responsible for monthly 2nd stage reviews, identifying missed recovery opportunities, and supporting the delivery of future Recovery process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly 2nd stage reviews relating to recovery abandonment and shortfall
- Identifying missed recovery opportunities, skill gaps, and supporting technical development through coaching and communication
- Supporting the delivery of future Recovery process improvements and the delivery of our recovery automation strategy
- Working with our legal panel to identify areas of improvement, including close monitoring of their abandoned recovery process and claims, and identifying potential compliance issues for review
- Acting as a 'gatekeeper' for all settled non-recovered claims with a view of upskilling our team through referral and mentoring
- Working with management to develop and deliver technical updates
Requirements
- Strong recovery claims experience
- Overall strong claims knowledge and the ability to mentor technical skills
- Excellent knowledge around liability
