Located in the South East, this role offers a salary of £26,500 with opportunities for progression. We're seeking individuals to provide essential support for our Claims Recoveries team.

We welcome applications from those with strong administrative skills, communicative abilities, and prior customer service experience. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary knowledge to succeed in this role.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of non-fault claims following a road traffic accident. This involves recovering costs from responsible parties, including third-party insurers, policyholders, and suppliers.

You'll be responsible for setting clear expectations, providing regular updates to stakeholders, collecting evidence, and advancing claims to ensure they are closed as non-fault, preserving customers' no-claims discounts.

As you progress through our competency framework levels, you'll take on more responsibility, handling a wider range of claims such as foreign claims, bodily injury, credit hire, fraud, dual insurance, and more.

This position requires:

  • Effective communication via telephone (inbound and outbound calls), written correspondence, and webchat with policyholders and other stakeholders
  • Expertly handling challenging conversations and complaints
  • Validating claims and ensuring policies are operational
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating claims reserves on our systems
  • Utilizing our diary system to maintain a proactive approach to claims handling
  • Working towards individual and business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Investigating liability where required and making decisions, admitting or disputing
  • Referring suspected fraud to our Specialist Unit
  • Processing incoming payments

Please note that recovery/claims experience is beneficial but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training. We're looking for individuals with a background in telephony-based work, excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and administrative experience.
