Event Sales Professional

Sunset Hospitality Group, a leading multinational lifestyle hospitality group, is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join its UK team. With a wide portfolio encompassing Hotels & Resorts, Restaurants, Beach Clubs, Nightclubs, Fitness Centres, and more, SHG operates over 58 venues in 17 countries.
As Event Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional event experiences. Combining proactive and reactive sales, this role involves creating new business opportunities through networking and account management, building client relationships, and managing private dining enquiries. You will also be responsible for end-to-end delivery of in-house events, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring they are well planned, seamlessly executed, and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
The ideal candidate will have previous Sales & Events Manager experience within luxury hospitality, with a proven ability to manage a dynamic workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven sales experience with a strong track record in proactive sales, including business development, client acquisition, and strategic account management, is essential. Exceptional organisation skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple events and client requests simultaneously, are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels, are necessary. Strong and creative problem-solving skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with CRM systems, are also desirable. A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to innovate and adapt, is crucial. The salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
