International Event Sales Professional

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and exciting international events business as an Event Sales Manager. As part of our team, you will work on well-established event production deadlines and be responsible for working with existing customers to grow revenue through sales.
The company is one of the fastest-growing specialist event organisers in the UK, with a track record of looking after its staff for over a decade. In this role, you will have the chance to become an equity owner in the business and enjoy a happy and profitable environment to work in.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who can make outbound calls to introduce themselves to potential and existing sponsors, promote event packages, and explain pricing and costs. You will also be responsible for sending out event information, price lists, customer lists, and other event-related materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound courtesy calls to introduce yourself to potential and existing sponsors
- Liaise with regards pricing of sponsorship packages and explaining costs of attendance
- Chase up previous year's event attendees to check their attendance this year
- Send out event information, price lists, customer lists, and other event-related materials
- Work to revenue sales targets
- Attend global events and represent the company
Requirements:
- Fluent English
- Previous sales track record
- Ideal experience in event, advertising, or publishing
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 + uncapped OTE (On-Target Earnings). In the first year, you can expect to earn an additional £10,000+ as you get familiar with the business model. The commission is uncapped, making your earnings potential very high.
