About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Director to join our team at COREcruitment International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in events and venue management, with a proven track record of success in sales management. They will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic sales plans to expand our client base and producing bespoke event proposals in line with client budgets and requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the sales team to achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Creating and implementing strategic sales plans to expand our client base
  • Producing bespoke event proposals in line with client budgets and requirements
  • Generating leads, building and nurturing client relationships
  • Participating in familiarisation trips, networking events and client entertaining
  • Reporting on team performance of sales and revenue
  • Carrying out competitor analysis

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sales management experience from a London venue background
  • A proven track record of success in the sales cycle from inception to close
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Ability to think outside the box and be creative
