This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills in the youth and community services space. You will work closely with the Assistant Welfare Officer and Head of School to support the wellbeing and welfare needs of our students.

Responsibilities

  • Support the holistic wellbeing and welfare needs of our students.
  • Act as a main point of contact for Indie School senior school students aged 15-18 years.
  • Develop and implement welfare programs to support student wellbeing.
  • Identify and develop strategies to support at-risk students.
  • Liaise with the administration team to ensure compliance with enrolment processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum qualification of Diploma in Community Services, Counselling, Youth Work, or related discipline.
  • Experience in working with young people and provision of individual support.
  • Skills and experience in working with Microsoft Office.
