Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Academic and Welfare Officer. This role involves providing holistic support to students aged 15-18 years, developing and implementing structured welfare programs, and collaborating with the administration support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary support person for senior school students.
  • Develop and implement structured welfare programs to enhance student wellbeing.
  • Identify, monitor, and develop intervention strategies for at-risk students.
  • Collaborate with the administration support team to ensure enrolment and withdrawal processes comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate experience and passion for providing individual support and working with young people.
  • Possess skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Hold a minimum qualification in Community Services, Counselling, Youth Work, Social Science, Social Work, or related field.
  • Meet Working with Children's Check and Annual National Police Checks requirements.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
