This role is part of our Supervised Contact Service, providing a safe environment for children to have supervised contact with their parents and family members. Our goal is to promote contact arrangements that benefit children at risk who are undergoing assessment within a statutory team.

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality focused and safe contact service, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people. They will safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, working in partnership with parents and carers to achieve positive change.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a relevant qualification or substantial experience in family support, education, social care, youth work, or early years. The ideal candidate will have well-developed skills in group work, individual sessions, and accurate record-keeping. They will also possess excellent communication and ICT literacy skills, as well as experience in undertaking written or dynamic risk assessments.

As a Supportive Contact Specialist, you will work flexibly across our portfolio of buildings and in the community, attending meetings and traveling within our areas. You will be required to work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service.

In this role, you will have access to a competitive salary, ranging from £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. We also offer 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years, as well as a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme and a range of staff benefits and discounts.
