Youth Development Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Youth Development Professional to join our team at PP Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and intervention to children and families in need, ensuring their well-being and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Develop and implement individual care plans and intervention strategies.
- Provide direct support to children and families through home visits and counselling.
- Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to coordinate services.
- Advocate for children's rights and ensure their voices are heard.
- Monitor and review cases regularly, adapting plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of casework and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Stay informed about current legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
Requirements:
- Recognized qualification in Social Work (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England (or relevant regulatory body).
- Previous experience in child and family social work is desirable.
- Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary: £48,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market rates.
