Role Overview:

As an Education Behaviour Coach, you will work within varying school settings, supporting young people with adverse behaviours.

Your responsibilities will span both 1:1 and small group settings within the classroom, requiring a flexible and adaptable person to provide targeted interventions.

Key requirements include resilience and empathy, along with the ability to establish and maintain clear boundaries to create a structured learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in PRU settings, although this is not essential. Trainings in Conflict Resolution or Team Teach are valued.

A salary of around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum is offered for this role, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, re-directing negative behaviours and promoting positive engagement.
  • Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to support their social and emotional development.
