Unlocking Potential
We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Uniform Education. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with diverse needs and challenging behaviours.
About the Role
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, redirecting negative behaviours and promoting positive engagement.
- Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans, driving student progress and social-emotional development.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in PRU settings or similar environments, with a strong understanding of conflict resolution and boundary setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a resilient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
