Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Post Office Counter Manager to join our team at WHSmith. As a Post Office Counter Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team of counter assistants to provide exceptional customer service, meet business goals, and ensure the security of both cash and postal items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of counter assistants to achieve business objectives and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the security of cash and postal items, and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals and improve overall store performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
