Employee Rewards Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Employee Rewards Specialist to join our team at Dementia UK. This is a unique opportunity to work with a specialist dementia nursing charity that provides expert advice, support, and understanding to families affected by dementia.
As an Employee Rewards Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring we have effective, fair, and transparent pay practices, as well as a benefits package that sets us apart. You will lead the end-to-end payroll process, manage all employee benefits, and provide training and support to the People team.
This role requires strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, including employment, reward, pensions, payroll, and GDPR compliance. If you have experience in managing payroll and pensions administration, along with a passion for staff reward and benefits, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant monthly processing
- Manage all employee benefits, liaising with suppliers and negotiating favourable terms
- Provide training and support to the People team to enhance their knowledge of reward practices
- Ensure our pay and benefits offering is effectively communicated across the charity
- Act as the main point of contact between the charity and our pension and payroll providers
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £48,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a generous benefits package that includes enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental pay, family-friendly policies, and more.
