Job Overview:

As a Rotating On-Call Human Resources Specialist at Intermountain Healthcare, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees. This role involves conducting fitness for duty screenings and coordinating with leaders to address any concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage initial intake calls from leaders regarding employee fitness for duty concerns
  2. Review applicable laws, policies, or procedures related to drug or alcohol screening
  3. Coordinate with vendors for on-site sample collection

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources or healthcare role
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly
