About the Job:

As a Referral Representative at Intermountain Health, you will work closely with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and navigate complex referral processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to obtain and process referrals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including insurance companies and community organizations.
  3. Utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to patient eligibility, benefits, and billing.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare administration or a related field advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $18.29 - $24.26, with comprehensive benefits, training opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
