Job Overview

This is a full-time position in the Clinical Laboratory department at Intermountain Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, maintaining quality control, and working collaboratively with other departments.

Job Summary

As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge in laboratory testing and procedures. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including those in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion.
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and administration, to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as medical technology or biology.
  • Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist certification or equivalent certification approved by Manager and Human Resources.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $30.94 to $47.77 per hour. Intermountain Health provides a generous benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
