Patient Safety Investigation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Safety Investigation Lead to join our Patient Safety Team at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the investigation of patient safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with our Learning Response Leads to develop and implement effective learning and improvement strategies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on patient safety matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient safety education and training programs.
