Patient Safety Investigation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Safety Investigation Lead to join our Patient Safety Team at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the investigation of patient safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement effective patient safety strategies, working closely with our Quality and Safety directorate and Learning Response Leads.
- Collaborate with our clinical teams to ensure that patient safety is integrated into all aspects of our service.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on patient safety matters, ensuring that our staff have the knowledge and skills to deliver safe and effective care.
- Contribute to the development of our patient safety policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with national guidelines and best practice.
