Patient Safety Investigation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Safety Investigation Lead to join our Patient Safety Team at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the investigation of patient safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement effective safety improvement plans, working closely with clinical teams and other stakeholders to drive cultural change and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our Learning Response Leads to ensure timely and effective learning from incidents, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on patient safety matters, ensuring compliance with national and local policies and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners, to promote a culture of safety and quality.
