Patient Safety Investigation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Safety Investigation Lead to join our Patient Safety Team at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the investigation of patient safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with our Learning Response Leads to ensure effective sharing of lessons learned across the organisation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and quality within the Trust.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust's Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
