Strategic HR Leader for Hotel Operations

Job Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Hyatt Corporation as a Strategic HR Leader, responsible for delivering strategic HR for the hotel and day-to-day operations of Human Resources. The successful candidate will have a team of 3 to manage and will be supported by Talent Acquisition and Learning.
About the Role:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the HR team by delivering on Hyatt's Leadership Expectations, including Talent Management and Retention, Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Payroll, Internal Communication, Talent Acquisition/Recruitment and Learning & Development
- Drive Colleague Engagement for an employee population of around 120 colleagues, through promoting and living our values and team building
- Coach, support and advise Managers and colleagues at all levels, with a hands-on approach
- SUPPORT in the delivery of Hyatt's EVP and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy across the hotel
- Collaborate with the leadership team as a business partner, including Business Plan implementation, and regular P&L reviews
About You:
- Recent working knowledge of UK employment law and current experience of managing day-to-day employee relations processes is essential
- With an eye for detail and excellent organisation skills, you will be a strong team player with a positive, collaborative and hands-on approach
- Your communication skills will be excellent and you will be able to manage stakeholders at varying levels
- Confident and assured, you will be an effective negotiator and able to affect change and behaviours within HR and influence at all levels across the company
- You will know how to measure and use KPIs and interpret and communicate results in order to help the company achieve its business goals
- You will have previous experience using software/systems within HR, specific experience of Fourth or PeopleSoft would be advantageous
- An empathetic leader, you will be used to getting things done through your people and will already be an experienced HR leader and team manager
