Clinical Forensic Services Director

This is a critical position within Mountain Healthcare Ltd, responsible for leading and managing the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services. The successful candidate will be accountable for coordinating and delivering safe and effective services to all clients of the SARC, meeting national and local targets in relation to rape and sexual assault.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the SARC service, ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints.
- Manage and coordinate all activities related to the smooth running of the SARC, including staff management and resource allocation.
- Act as the advocate for patients who attend the centre, empowering them to feel in control and supporting them during the forensic examination process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including NHS England and the police, to ensure effective service delivery and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance access and service delivery.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Basic Life Support (training provided).
- Working with vulnerable people.
- Excellent communication skills and styles.
- Proven strong judgement and analysis.
- Venepuncture trained.
- Managerial experience.
- Trained to complete forensic examinations.
- Awareness of SARC commissioning.
