About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) as a SARC Manager, playing a pivotal role in developing a strategic vision for the service. As a key member of the Mountain Healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the SARC, coordinating safe and effective services to all clients, and meeting national and local targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the SARC, ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate and deliver safe and effective services to all clients, meeting national and local targets in relation to rape and sexual assault.
  • Manage all employees associated with the SARC, evaluating and assessing current service delivery, and implementing changes in practice that deliver significant and substantial improvements in access and service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the Mountain Healthcare team to ensure the SARC meets the needs of victims of sexual assault and rape.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, who has a strong background in clinical forensic healthcare and management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong judgement and analysis, and experience in managing a team. They will also have a proven track record of delivering safe and effective services to vulnerable individuals.
